- Why are other paint company’s bids higher or lower?
Price depends upon changing variables such as equipment used, types of paint, surface preparation, and other factors. Furthermore, each company is different in how they perceive value. At J&B Paint & Wallpaper, we will never overcharge you but we reward our good painters for the good work they continue to perform. In this way, our prices are median in the industry.
- Do you use eco-friendly paints?
At a client’s request, we will use low or non-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) paints. Indoor air quality can be effected by paints that break down and release toxins over time. Low and non-VOC paints are nearly free of these toxins, therefore protecting you, your family, or your work environment from respiratory illnesses.
- How can you ensure that my property will be safe when you are working in it?
We understand the apprehension of having strangers in your home. For that reason, we are more than happy to do the work under your attendance. Even though all our employees are properly vetted, and the work is fully insured, we want you to feel comfortable with us. During your free consultation, we hope to get to know you and your wishes better to make the entire paint process run smoothly.
- How long does a typical paint job take?
The size of your paint job will determine the length of man-hours needed to complete the task. We will tell you ahead of time so you can schedule conveniently. In any case, we will work continuously and safely until the paint, wallpaper, and/or drywall job is done.
